On a Winter’s Day

Bristol Vallum, Sharpie, 2016

The image of me evolved over time to create a joyful winter girl. I chose to draw focus away from my mouth, eyebrows and body, choosing to instead draw the attention to my hair, eyes and scarf. Large eyes looks youthful and sweet while the long hair so a little disorder. My scarf is an integral part of my being and needed to be a central part of my caricature.

Also, wire art!
